Hello again. I hope you had a wonderful summer-at least a few days spent far away from laws and Lexis and litigation. It’s nice to spend a little time now and then doing something that is not terribly important.
Growing up as I did in Kenosha, Wisconsin, summers meant frequent trips along the western shores of Lake Michigan. Well, this issue we feature the state directly across the lake from some of my favorite haunts, listing over 100 Michigan legal websites together with phone numbers for more than two hundred state trial courts. It contains many websites which are not contained in either the Michigan Supreme Court’s listing of websites or that maintained by the National Center for State Courts.

This information will also be posted on our website, joining similar lists for California, Florida, Illinois and Nevada, so you can just click on the links rather than typing them in. It includes every site that we could locate, but, if you know of any we missed, drop us a line, and we will add them in.
In the last few weeks we’ve uploaded an updated version of our website to the Internet. Be sure to drop by and check it out. It contains all the information we had before, but was redesigned to make it easier for you to quickly find the information you need. It contains all the data contained in past issues of this newsletter, as well as other information about our company and the services we offer.
Particularly useful are two links at the top of the page. One is for scheduling a deposition on line. Clicking the other lets you log in to our award-winning Active Client Services program. There you can access your entire calendar, past and future, and view transcripts from any of those depositions. If you do a lot of depositions, you can also limit your view to a single attorney or case.
All of these actions are aspects of our overriding purpose to provide service far beyond the ordinary. If there is any other way we can assist you, please be sure to let us know.
